Greg Quiroga ~ Auctioneer
Born to Cuban and Swedish parents, Greg Quiroga has always been fiery,
fast-talking, and passionate. He worked his way through U.C. Berkeley,
where he dabbled in drama, film, and sociology. He graduated with High
Honors and a BA in Mass Communications in 1991, and set out to find his
place in the world.
Greg found a niche in the Internet in the mid-90's, working with a variety
of start-ups, destination sites, and online magazines. Eventually he settled
down and spent three years helping found the interactive marketing division
of a public relations firm. In 1999 he set out on his own, designing web
sites and formulating interactive marketing strategies for clients ranging
from small start-ups to Fortune 500's.
In 2001, Greg accepted a full-time marketing position with an interactive
company. The firm happened to have an industrial auction wing. After attending
his first auction, Greg knew he had found his place. Within two years,
he was one of the firm's leading auctioneers. Seeking more professional
knowledge, he attended the Missouri School of Auctioneering.
In 2004, nationally renowned charity auctioneer David Reynolds invited
Greg to join the firm of Reynolds & Buckley. Greg brings a unique
combination of auctioneering experience, commitment to non-profit organizations,
and excellence as a public speaker and entertainer to Reynolds & Buckley.
His gregarious nature, quick wit, and crowd-pleasing demeanor make him
an ideal fit with the longstanding traditions of Reynolds & Buckley.
Greg and his wife Michele live in San Francisco with their son, Ryder.
