Your catalog or “program” is the single most important marketing tool for your live auction lots. It gives bidders the vital information they need about what you are offering for purchase.
A well-written catalog does more than just describe auction lots. It paints an irresistible picture and sells the sizzle of each lot. Brevity is essential as are bullet points that can give the bidder an at-a-glace summary of the details and restrictions in the lot.
A well-designed catalog takes into consideration legibility, dimmed lighting, and ease of use for readers. Font size, for example, should be at least 11 point.
We work with over 100 events annually and read the catalog for each and every event. We know what works and what does not. Our writing expertise covers wine auctions, school events, golf tournaments, and everything in between. The catalogs we write set the stage for passionate bidding.
